How many people do I need to invite?

It’s up to you but on average we recommend between 10 to 30 guests. Obviously this does depend on the venue and your preference.

How long does a gold party last?

On average we find most parties last between 2 to 3 hours. Again this depends on venue and the amount of gold that needs valuing.

How much do we pay for Gold?

The international gold price fluctuates twice daily. We base our valuations on the current gold price at the time of your party.

How will I be paid for my gold?

Any transactions below the total price of £50.00 will be paid in cash. Transactions above this amount will be paid by cheque. This policy had been put place to ensure the security and safety of everyone attending the gold party.  All transactions will be accompanied by a proof of purchase receipt.

Do I need any identification?

We require formal identification in the form of a Passport or driving licence. This is a legal requirement to prevent the sale of stolen goods.

Where can I host a gold party? 

You can choose to host the party where ever you like. Typically this is at your home but in the past we have done gold parties at social clubs, sports halls, and hotels.

Do you do charity events?

Yes the The Gold Party Company is happy to help with charity events. At these events the charity becomes the host.

Are diamonds and other precious stones taken into consideration when valuing?

Yes diamonds can be valued and are taken into consideration. They will be valued according to size and quality, although when diamonds are set into a piece it is very hard to assess the actual size and so we can only approximate the size to get a value. If anyone has a larger diamond they want to be valued more exactly then we would have to take the piece away remove the diamonds and give a more exact figure.
